2. 'The History behind Guy Fawkes Day' Skit by 'Horrible Histories'
Guy Fawkes day / Fireworks Day is a day that is remembered in UK when Guy Fawkes almost succeeded in blowing up the king and all the government members some 400 years ago. Guy Fawkes was a Catholic Christian who did not agree with the Protestant government of that time, and wanted to install a new Catholic King.
On this day, they build a big bonfire and sometimes place an effigy / statue of Guy on it, though in the past (due to anti-Catholic feelings) this used to be a figure of the Catholic Pope. Fireworks are also displayed to commemorate this day of 'Gunpowder, Treason and Plot'

3. What are Americans Thankful for on Thanksgiving Day?
Thanksgiving is a feast to be thankful of a good harvest and other lucky blessings during that year as well as to remember particular events from the past.
